To download the thumbnail of any YouTube video, you simply have to go to that video.
After going to the video you have to click on share that video.
After clicking on the share button, you have to copy the link of that video.
You have to paste the copied link in the box given on this website.
After pasting the link you have to click on the preview thumbnail and click on the download thumbnail.
The thumbnail will open in a new page after which you have to right click on the image and click on Save Image As to download the thumbnail.
